"Fun" things to do before term starts

  1. Buy notebooks and pens
  2. Pick out a first-day-of-school outfit
  3. Wallow in self pity
  4. Annoy everyone in your family
  5. Plan to participate every event at school
  6. Sit at home blogging instead of doing something fun
  7. Fake being sick
  8. Start counting down to Christmas
  9. Eat
  10. Be annoyed at friends for being on holiday.

Good music

Here's a list of music that's worth listening to. Well, in my opinion, anyway.

Goals

Since this is the last month of summer holidays, here's what I need/want to do:

  1. Read "The Three Comrades" and "Farewell to Arms"
  2. Find a German book and read it
  3. Play the guitar every day
  4. Do a lot of drawing
  5. Go to the seaside
  6. Watch as many films as possible
  7. Prepare myself morally for 9 months of hard studying and events and dancing
And here are some goals that are less likely (or not likely at all) to be completed:
    1. Stop snacking between meals
    2. Do maths exercises
    3. Not spend more than an hour a day at the computer
    4. ...

    What's with the blogs?

    Hey peeps!
Today I'll share some of my confusion with you. You know the "Next Blog" thing at the top left of your screen? Well, how is it that the next blog is always
          a) about religion and God
          b) about someone's newborn kids and/or pets
          c) about something rather interesting, but hasn't been updated since, say, 2009
          d) in a language that's unknown to me.
It's not that I don't respect all these people's need to write and share their life and beliefs, but are there any blogs about anything else? Like specific interests? Art, books, parties, music? And if there are, why is the "Next Blog" anything but?

    Rant over.
    Bye
