Goals
Since this is the last month of summer holidays, here's what I need/want to do:
- Read "The Three Comrades" and "Farewell to Arms"
- Find a German book and read it
- Play the guitar every day
- Do a lot of drawing
- Go to the seaside
- Watch as many films as possible
- Prepare myself morally for 9 months of hard studying and events and dancing

- ...
What's with the blogs?
Hey peeps!
Today I'll share some of my confusion with you. You know the "Next Blog" thing at the top left of your screen? Well, how is it that the next blog is always
a) about religion and God
b) about someone's newborn kids and/or pets
c) about something rather interesting, but hasn't been updated since, say, 2009
d) in a language that's unknown to me.
It's not that I don't respect all these people's need to write and share their life and beliefs, but are there any blogs about anything else? Like specific interests? Art, books, parties, music? And if there are, why is the "Next Blog" anything but?
Rant over.
Bye

Thoughts on the sea
Hey there!
I thought I'd write about something I love - the sea. I visit it every day and I feel like I could stay and watch it forever. It's so fascinatingly natural that it inspires me to write and think more deeply.
Sometimes I imagine that the sea is like a person, a human being. Everyday it is both the same as the day before and completely different. It goes through an entire spectrum of moods: angry, peaceful, thoughtful, sad and so many others. And if you visit it often enough it becomes a part of you, just like a dear friend.
The most magical thing about the sea is how it pushes you to create. I believe that if everyone in the world were to live by the ocean, all of us would be painters, writers, poets, sculptors, musicians, singers or actors. There would be no wars, or corrupt politicians, or murders. We'd all eat fish and vegetables and be happy. Our lives would be like fairy-tales - starting with the "once upon a time" all the way to the "happily ever after". With lots of sea water in between.

To do list:
Tomorrow day will busy be
Places to go and sights to see.
Might make a sketch of someone near
A sister who is very dear.
The seaside calls me very loud
I wish to see each wave and cloud.
Since my room is such a mess
Will take some time to find my dress.
This to do list is not quite done
But I have errands, got to run.

Jeans
If you give me money
Some pounds, to be precise,
I will buy some clothing,
Look good and feel nice.
I'd buy some jeans of colour black,
Of colour black or red
And if I were to change my mind
I'd buy a skirt instead.

Looks
An anorexic model walks
In style, in bright light.
Backstage she falls, she won't get up,
Her looks have lost the fight.

Types of people I hate
Hey there!
If you're reading this, you'll probably recognise one, two or all of these types as people around you.Maybe you'll be reading about yourself? Anyway, I don't really care. And, being sick of this pseudo-introduction, I'll dive right into the river of HATRED.
1. Constantly happy type. Yeah, it's not good news if your're always miserable. But hello! There's nothing more annoying than an always-chipper-and-never-resting person who just won't leave you alone. And comments like "It'll all work out", "Don't worry, be happy" etc. start making you want to hit your head against the wall when you've heard them over and over and over.
2. The-world-revolves-around-me type. Oh, they can talk about you. For five seconds. Then it's back to their lives, their problems, their dreams, their crushes, their everything. And can you guess their favourite word? That's right. ME. Favourite colour? ME. Favourite song? ME la la la ME ME ME.
3. Hyperactive monster type. Do you ask for their help? No. Do they interfere anyway? Certainly. And why do they do this? For fun. For kicks. For a laugh. Last question. Do they care that they embarrassed you and/or ruined your life? Nope. At least they're easy to spot in the crowd: big innocent grin, sparkly laughing eyes, a low conspiring voice saying "I fixed it for ya".
4. Lipstick-and-glitter type. You find these girls (and on rare occasions guys) anywhere you look. So, let's play "I Spy". Can you find something that has 10 centimetres of make-up, a glittery skirt (also 10 centimetres), also 20 centimetres of heels , hair bleached practically white and veeeeeeeeeery shrill laughter? I bet you can!
Thanks for reading! I don't hate you already! :)
